So it’s Top List Tuesday here on my blog and I’m really excited about today’s post! I contacted Marina Lotaif of Yes To Tech last week and asked if I could share a resource about how to be more productive, which I got through being on her email list. She graciously gave me permission to share it. 🙂

Today’s top list is one of her featured resources. I’m providing you with the tip and a summary of each, and you will find the link to download the full resource sheet at the end of this post.

5 Ways to Supercharge Your Productivity

     Ensure your goals are SMART!

Master your TO DO list! Writing everything down, chunking, and prioritizing, and THEN making a plan ahead of time, are the key elements in this tip!

Use batching and sprinting for success! Key here: Grouping similar activities together and then focusing on one task at a time within the group. Designate a “sprint” time during which you will focus on and complete each task.

Be on time once and for all!  Thinking ahead, NOT procrastinating, and making and keeping a flexible schedule are among the helpful hints within this tip.

Break bad habits and start new GOOD ones!  Keys here: Evaluating root causes of bad habits, tweaking behaviors, and rewarding yourself for developing new good, positive behaviors.

Great advice. And that fifth one is probably the best and most difficult. Bad habits need a lot of work.

These are great tips – I think the mistake I make is that I don’t put a time limit on things so I don’t have any pressure to actually do them!! Rx

I think I’m naturally productive, but I don’t always work smarter, not harder. I have never heard of batching and sprinting although on my most productive days, I tend to do stuff like that to cross things off of my to-do list. Now I will definitely use it as an intentional strategy!

These are perfect! I do most of these for the most part, and working on others right now. I especially find that having a list, and chunking out time for different tasks works best for me.

SMART goals are really important otherwise you lose sight on what’s important!

I haven’t heard of batching and sprinting before. although that seems like it would be a great fit for me! I am definitely going to have to try it out.

I always do batching and sprinting when ticking off things on my to-do list, but I have to really work hard on being on time. I hope to master it by the end of the year 🙂
