Happy December 1st and a New NaBloPoMo

Happy December 1st!  Can you believe it’s the first day of the last month of the year of 2012?

Well, I managed to write 18 posts during November, but I didn’t exactly meet the criteria of posting every day for NaBloPoMo – although I certainly did post more than I have for quite awhile!

However, since NaBloPoMo runs every month, I’m giving it another shot for the month of December, in hopes I can establish a new GOOD habit to carry into the new year of 2013.

The theme for December’s NaBloPoMo is … WORK! Now, ironically, it was work obligations that pulled me away from blogging for those final 12 days of November – that, and a host of other distractions.

But now, this just may be the motivation I need to get back on track with blogging – or to get a better handle on time management for my freelance work by blogging about it every day – perhaps both!

I haven’t quite figured out if I should consider blogging in my personal blogs as a work or leisure activity – what about you other bloggers? How do you approach blogging?

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

  1. Wait, what? Ohthankgoodness! I completely biffed on my November NaBloPoMo plans due to an overcommitment to work/personal obligations, too. Here’s to second tries. And third. And…well. As many as it takes, I guess? 😉

  2. Well done, I applaud you! I am also struggling with that answer. I took part in NaNoWriMo from the 12th to 28th Nov and my blogging paid the price. I have decided to use the December holidays to once and for all work out how many blog posts per week I should do taking into consideration the blogs, the writing, and all the other things and things and things. LOL

  3. I didn’t manage to post every day in November’s NaBloPoMo either, Karen. And I’m also trying to work out which is a workable blog schedule for me. I love to post most days but that’s often the only writing I do! But I think of it as both personal and work, since it gets my brain going and is part of the work I’m doing. All the best for December’s NaBloPoMo.
